Virtual Assistants (VAs) generally charge by the hour, anywhere from $25-75, depending upon the expertise required and type of work performed. For example, copy typing would be estimated at the low end of this scale, whereas web design would be found at the high end. Statistics show that employees actually cost 2 to 2 1/2 times their rate of pay when one adds in all the “hidden costs” associated with adding a new employee to the payroll:
